Have you actually looked at the protocol and the exchanges that go
between Chromecast devices and Google ?
Chromecast devices are basically browser with one tab - however the

For 'free' (if you have Amazon Prime) it's pretty awesome. It's not a
replacement for something like Spotify or Napster in terms of available
catalogue but it does have a lot of good stuff. You can also download
music to your mobile device to listen to offline too, using the Amazon
player app.

Sorry, misunderstood your question.
Their UI and use of metadata makes it so easy to surf through your music
collection finding music and relationships you'd never know existed.
It's also extremely intuitive and quite beautiful. But yes, it's harder
to describe than it is to see. This video gives a pretty effective
glimpse...

I'm sorry, but I fail to see how Syncback in either it's free or paid
version will help me determine what I've lost in my disk crash, based on
a physical, partial, backup and what's present in the LMS database ...

Are any of our coding gurus (mherger, pippin, triode, erland, etc.) for

Hey, I've been a huge Squeezebox fan since the very early SlimDevices

Roon is great. I consider to go for it in addition to my LMS-Squeezebox
setup. Squeezebox devices can be supplied directly from Roon with music
streams, but with the disadvantage that the LMS in the network has to be
shut down for achieving that a respective Squeezebox device connects
