I can't fathom why anyone would have a spare box for a Touch. Maybe
someone had a Touch that went belly up? (Geez I hope not). But if anyone
has one that they don't need, would you be willing to sell it to me? I
need all three components of the box. (Outer/inner and the plastic

That would be a problem. ;)

Thanks all.
I unplugged power supply from the SB3 last night, and the display worked
after plugging it back in! And yes, it automatically connected to my
music server without having to go through the setup again.
I need to experiment further, it's possible this was a fluke. If it
happens again
You can also use "saverswitcher" to do that. It's pretty simple to use.

I've looked at this amp, it has no IR input, but it has a "comms" link.
After a quick tour, it looks there is enough info and perhaps even
ready-made software necessary to 'craft a communication cable'

Why the UK?
O2 Joggler may have fit the bill but no one sells them. Sometimes
there's one or two on ebay but for silly money. Pipo? I'll take a look.

What is the setup you are going for?
1. Use LMS or SB Controller to control Marantz (which would certainly
require special Marantz codes/files installed)
2. Use Transporter as an IR Blaster to Marantz (where Marantz is not
visible to IR)
3. Both Marantz & Transporter are hidden, say in a cabin
Dunno about config files. I assume the Transporter simply takes any IR
input then transmits it back out via the IR Out port. If that requires
special config files ya got me.
You should just need one of these (below). That link is a dual head,
but you can get a single head for just one device.

If you are in the UK what about an O2 Joggler running Squeezeplay?
It's an old device but quite reliable, or something like a' PiPo'

It should simply connect automatically. My SB3 has been on the same
WiFi network for about 8 years, power is completely shut off (unplugged)
when not in use, never had to set it up again after initial setup.

I've used a Xantech IR repeater/distribution system for years. Flawless
performance and very customization. If you are lucky your AVR will have
a "discrete IR input" on the back (like your Transporter has) so you
don't need to hang the mini IR "eye" on the front cover.
