There's very little difference between on and off with these devices. At
best, it's the state of the display. Install the BlankSaver screensaver
and that's the best you can do - to have the screens completely blank.
You know what would be a useful LMS feature or app? Something that would
turn off all Squeezeboxen at a fixed time.
I often get up in the morning to find I've left the Transporter and/or
other devices on overnight, drawing power and using up their finite
operating hours. Or that the Radio and

The first two are plugins - disable them and your "fine".

You can disable unused stuff, but thats requires to manipulate files and
all these manipulations have to be done each each you update/reinstall
the lms Server.

Hi all, plugged and IR emitter cable into my Transporter and positioned
the business end over the eye of my amplifier, installed IR Blaster
plugin , configured a couple of keys through the IR Blaster web
interface and lots of nothing happens when I use the TP's remote - any
ideas ?
