Same symptom for me but not router related. Phone works fine (Android
4.0) using just WiFi

I have a Logitech Harmony Hub that couldn't be seen by it's own app when
I changed phones to one running Android 6.01/Marshmallow. The phone was
connected to 5GHz & the Hub to 2.4GHz. Switched the phone to 2.4GHz & it
saw the Hub straight away & paired with it. Switche
my simple and cheap setup:
Hardware Player:
raspberry pi 2 model b
hifiberry dac+phone jack version
standard raspberry case
Hardware Controller:
ODYS MIRA (7" Android tablet)
Software Controller:
Logitech Squeezebox-App from Google-Playstore (also available for ios)
Software Player:
piCorePlay
