Did you try another PSU? In most cases these devices outlive them.

Went downstairs to see why the old SB3 (pre-Logitech!) connected to my
whole-house audio wasn't working. Looks like it's completely dead,
won't power on.
Does anyone have an old one laying around that they want to sell? I
don't need remote - if there are flaws with the screen that's OK as
I replaced my Touch with a Sonore microRendu. You can drive it with
Logitech Media Server, a DLNA based program such as JRiver, Roon or
Airplay. It's worked really well for me.

What rules have you "correctly " set in the router (hint: you should not
need any).
My guess is that you are using different physical segments under the
same SSID and the router doesn't correctly route UDP broadcasts, a
common problem.

I have a workaround to play Amazon Music on squeeze - for iOS device
owners only.
First I activate the shairtunes2 plugin.
All squeezeclients will then be offered as airplay devices on
iPad/iPhone.
Then open Amazon Music App and select the Airplay output device of
choice.
Works great.
