I've got a bunch of SB2's scattered around the house. On one of them the IR has suddenly stopped working. Tried different remotes to be sure its not the remote, but it is definitely the IR receiver. Doesn't work even when not connected (IE. Hold down power to restart, up/down thru menus etc.)
I'm guessing the IR receiver has given up so want to try replacing it but dunno the part number. Sean Adams said a while back the schematics had never been released publicly. However, after many years since the SB2s stopped being made could they be released now - so that as components do die we can fix them? Or, does anyone know the IR receiver part numbers?
