I finally managed to find a workaround. I created a file called
ChooseMusicSource.lua (which didn't get created when Squeezeplay was
installed, despite me installing/uninstalling it 3-4 times). That file
directs Squeezeplay to the IP address of my LMS server.

I've just installed Squeezeplay 7.8.0r959 on Windows 10. I can't get it
to connect to my LMS server (v7.9.0 on Windows Server 2008) on the same
LAN. I just get a message saying "Problem Connecting". I can access the
LMS server using the web interface on port 9090. Any tips for diagnosing
this?
