One would more expect that I would get message "cannot open folder :
/user/*myusername* ...uhh,no?!? But sure, I might very well be missing
something!
Are you on Mac or Linux? On Mac this would be uppercase plural "Users",
not "user".

Would it be possible to use this function on a Sqeezeplay and put *.jpg
images in a folder somewhere on the MAC/PC where one has a Squeezeplayer
installed?
Yeah, that should work. Squeezeplay is what we used most of the time
while working on those applets.
