For a variety of reasons I won't go into, I've not been using my
Transporter of late. Normally it drives the receiver and speakers in my
living room, as well as the Bluetooth transmitter I use with my Bose
headphones. For a while all I've been using has been the optical out to
the BT device.

I just got one of these - it's an Alexa device with decent sound. It
has 2 additional features: using Alexa it works as a DECT phone and you
can call contacts direct from the speaker. For LMS it also appears as a
player if you have the upnpbridge plug in installed - it's the only

Thanks for your comments. I believe have found an answer. The problem
was being caused by setting in BubbleUpnp. For the piCoreplayer render I
had to select "Use Eventing" in the UPnP Tweaks section of the settings
