No. That's purely a scanner thing.
I had noticed issues with gain when playing tracks that were still in
the queue from before a full rescan.

We do not support out of tree drivers.
You should be able to build on your pi1 just fine. Albeit a bit slow.
Instead of running "make -j4", just run "make".
Additionally you can enable a swap file, which is disabled by default.
Remove "noswap" from cmdline.txt on the boot disk.

I also tried the Utility for compiling out of tree kernel moduels for
pCP Kernels Guid
I've just installed the new update and all seems fine now. Rescanning
for new files is working now. Thanks

Yeah, that might be it. I found a an entry in SQLite's changelog which
dealt with what might have happened here in 3.20.0. That would explain
why I wasn't seeing it, as I'm on 3.22.0.
But hopefully my change will mitigate this issue a
