I use SqueezeCommander on JB (CyanogenMod10), and have no issue with
that. I quickly tried the official app, and that one seems to work too.

Not an expert here, but I think the firmware contains Linux, drivers for
the (touch) screen, drivers for the sound card, and codecs for the
different sound formats.

with the speed.
