I'd love a unit with both built in amp and speakers, kinda like the Bose
and Boston units... An easy way to do whole house audio and have it all
controlable via IP!

I was using a VAC pre-amp, their cheap one - about $2500ish. This was
using theinternal DAC and analog out on the SB. I cannot wait to hear
what the SB2 will sound like!

If your speakers are making a slight hiss, you probably have a ground
fault looop. There are things, power conditioners, kinda like surge
protectors that can help get rid of those.

A new company, control4, has come out with some nice home automation
stuff. The nice thing is that it is all IP based. So you could set up a
webpage to control the amp and SqueezeBox, and lots of other stuff. I'm
