Well gentlemen, guess what, No more "Screech" !
I'm not much of a computer geek at all obviously, so I don't know why
this was the fix , but I'm glad to report that the problem is now
solved!

ery impressed I am with the SB3
inhearant features and versitility analog out before, as well as a
transport using its digital outs.
Should these events continue I will reluctantly and unfortunatly
downgrade to use my SACD player(Sony ce595) in the process of
elimination in the
well
seated.
Not having this problem reported here before at least is a good
indicator that the process of elimination rests somewhere else than the
SB3 wired...
Which leads me back to my provider of the bandwidth or the router
hardware (Westell) perhaps.
