say USB_DRIVE
(This approach allowed support of multiple physical drives when SBS
only supported a single top level music directory)
Then you can Browse Music Folder - USB_DRIVE , and away you go ...

issue :)
Couldn't you just simulate the effect of a balance control by varying
the individual volumes independently ?
Obviously not as elegant as a single balance control, but still.

Any easy way to define where the file cache lives, and what its likely

Can one size fit all for such differing requirements?

Update:
Installing broken 2006-04-08 , then re-installing previous version
(2006-03-22) had side effect of updating firmware to Version 37 on
SB2.
Checked the Program Files\SlimServer\server\Firmware dir
and version 37 was installed.
So I guess thats a win - of sorts.

You can reset your squeezebox by holding the red power button down on
the remote for 5+ seconds. That gets you to the setup/startup menu
where you can choose which server to connect to. Its a work-around, but
saves having to go round the back of the unit etc.
