One other problem to check is if the ones that don't play have any "accented" characters (for example á, é or ä) anywhere in the path or filename. If this is the case, it is an identified bug that hasn't been patched yet relating to the handling of

As network storage(fileshares) and running slimserver goes, its really no better or easier than a generic NAS or linux box. Where it really shines is (1) remote access and (2) seamless backups for windows PCs in the house. -- IPGuy
