hat would avoid scanning the whole huge library to simply have access
to some new file via the standard browse by pages.
The AudioRequest works that way (and it's the only thing i like about
it...).

with via a modem and get messages on the squeezebox with delete and
archive features. That would be really great..
That's very cool but highly complicated to build.
Wouldn't we be able to achieve the same results with only a 56kbps
modem in the PC ??
