I decided to beef up security and changed my wireless network's name and
password recently. It works flawlessly with my laptop, my Apple TV and
my iPod. Not so with the Squeezebox classic. I always get the « wireless
encryption failure » message. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I chose WPA
2
a Sonos. Why do they say their products are more
user-friendly than Squeezebox products? Is it because of the mesh
network thingie?

Elsewhere, I told someone he should get a Squeezebox instead of a sound
card. Here's what another poster replied:
Nostromos suggestion is a very reasonable alternative in my estimation
that will provide more power than a sound card alone (if you want that)
and has the additional benefit

Remove the touch screen (something people will rarely use anyway), put
a bigger LCD instead, keep the other Squeezebox extras like native
24bit/96kHz support (although I suspect I couldn't hear the difference)
and voilà! you have the SB4.

Not sure how it works in Squeezenetwork, but have you configured your
player(s) to send info to last.fm? Go in settings, click on the
players tab, click on the triangle next to basic settings and select
the audioscrobbler option.

One of my playlists erased itself unexplainably. The name of the

The homepage screen isn't 100% reliable. Sometimes it hasn't finished
scanning and it doesn't say its still scanning.
