mac address and I was back in business.
I checked the MAC address in current settings and it matches the MAC
address on the bottom of the SB.

If these don't work and you are feeling brave you could open up the box
and see if the wireless module has become loose inside.

Can you elaborate on these instructions? I tried pressing 1 and the
power button but nothing seems to happen.

I looked at the wireless card inside the SB and there is nothing loose.
I don't really want to mess aroud with my working SB unless absolutley
necessary. It looks like the card is caput, is there any possibility
to get a replacement card?

things went back to normal and have worked since.
Log on to your router, there should be an option somewhere to pick a
channel. Try a different one and see what happens.
I tried switching the channels but I still have the same problem.

tried again but no joy.
The other SB continues to work fine, which worries me that this may be
a hardware problem.

any Idea why my previous playlists are not showing on my
squeezebox? I created and saved a playlist with current version of slim
server to see where it was saved and it is in the same location as the
other playlists, they are just not showing up.
