LCD screens can also suffer from burn-in too.
No way.. that's impossible with LCD technology. However, they can
"suffer" from temporary image retention. It is far from permanent, like
burn-in is.

I'm getting the impression I'm in the minority here connecting my
Squeezebox to my 7.1-channel surround sound receiver.
I have two Squeezeboxes. Using optical cables, one is connected to a
STR-DA4ES and the other to an STR-DB930. Both are surround receivers

'idle' brightness setting is close..but I don't want the display to dim
normally unless sleep is active.

I am running SlimServer 6.1.1. I notice that when browsing the music
folder (from the player), the song title format seems to be just the
filename. According to my player preferences, the song title format
should be "TITLE (ARTIST)". That is the format used on Now Playing, but
why doesn't it
