When asking about a problem it is always good to give info about your
setup.
The plugin is not available for all version of SS/SBS/LMS and OS
platforms so give details.
Did you enable show all 3rd party plugins ?
Do you see other 3rd party plugins or is PlayWMA the only

The plugin is only supported on OSX and Linux system as Windows already
has WMA support.
Any thoughts, then, on why i am unable to stream WEXP?

The KEXP stream is non standard. It looks like a WMA stream but it is
not as the audio is not encoded with MS WMA encoding.
The PlayWMA plugin uses Mplayer to play WMA stream for those players
which do not have a WMA decoder (e.g. Squeezeplay). Mplayer has the
added benefit

I think in this case the PlayWMA might replace the AlienBBC
functionality you needas it has the WMA thro mplayer part of AlienBBc.
On 12/19/2012 PlayWMA is not an option in the drop-down menu. Anything
else to try?

Thanks m1cross. I guess I would like to have that confirmed by a

Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit
3/8 SS 6.5.2
I can access the SS from a networked computer by pointing my internet
browser to:
SS IP Adress:9000 (e.g. 192.168.0.2:9000).
For some reason Http://localhost:9000 does not do it.

Cannot access SS from otherwise well functioning network computer.
Thanks.

Things are looking better with the 3/8 overnight version of SS. I am
not, however, able to access SS (via localhost:9000) from an otherwise
well functioning network.
