I've been playing with Squeezenetwork / Pandora, and really enjoying it.
However my one complaint is that, while it's nice that the Slimserver
web UI has the handy "switch to squeezenetwork" link, I can't seem to
find a complimentary "Switch to slimserver" on either squeezenetwork or
the slimserver
I’m looking to finally replace my college-era $9.99
beep-beep-beep digital alarm clock with something a little more aesthetic which
can play music. The squeezebox seems the obvious choice, except for the lack
of speakers.
What are people using? Are there any solutions that sound

Ever since upgrading to 6.2, I'm seeing really high CPU utilization when
playing shoutcast radio streams. It happens on every stream that I've
tested, all of them either 128kbps or 192kbps. This is no transcoding,
just serving to a softsqueeze. The machine is an Athlon64 4000+ wi

I'm just getting
started with Slimserver again after years away from it. However, it's
misbehaving. The slimtray app will happily allow me to select "start
slimserver", and it will then start blinking and do the balloon help
"starting..." thing. But no "slim.exe"" process appears in task
