tried resetting the player several times and then organising the menus as I wish them to be. All looks well in the SS menu list (ie no BBC or podcast) but then they reappear in the player menu! Simon -- ashmore ashmore'

it's own database of tags during scanning and that the 'changed music' element was not actually working. It was solved by clearing the library and rescanning the whole lot. Like I say, not one to worry about, but maybe one of the clever developer types might cast their eye over

[slim] Updating Slimserver from 5.4 to 6.0

Sorry for a very basic question.   I have a Sqeezebox and am running Slimserver 5.4 on Windows XP SP2.   I am thinking of updating  to Slimserver 6.0. Do I need to uninstall 5.4 or will 6.0 update overtop of it?   Also if I do have to uninstall will my preferences remain or do I have to star
