experience or comments on the Pyle PCA1 2x15 watt amp or
their PTA2 2x40 watt amp? Hard to find specs on these amps and I'm
wondering if they're comparable to the T-amp or if they're rubbish.

to remove from SqueezeCenter or...
?
I'd be happy to be able to remove playlists from within SqueezeCenter
but I haven't found any way to remove them there either.

I've always made sure the remote is turned ON before placing it on the
charger. I believe it won't charge otherwise.

Actually, I've only been able to get it to charge when the controller is
turned on. And when the battery is totally dead, I had to place it in
the cradle to turn it on before charging it up again.
