Like it. Very slick. Only improvements I can think of are a) playlist
view and b) ability to play individual tracks.

Brilliant - thanks for the reply. MP3tag sorted me out - it turns out I
had multiple tag types in about 600 songs. Doh!
Slimserver now picks up all the genres in my tags.

with it apart from one thing : about 450 of the songs
say 'No Genre' in Slimserver, when they definitely have a genre in
itunes.
Any ideas ? (I've tried clearing the library and rescanning)
