I use the same sync settings you specified and my players, one wired -
one wireless, sync without issue. If you can send seperate streams to
each player without problems I would guess that both your home network
and server are strong. On the audio tab for each player, if you have
crossfade
Try an xilinx reset. Remove power, hold down the 1 key on the remote
while connecting to power. You may have to reenter you network info
again.

Over the course of the free trial, I've found that the quality of the
last.fm streams is very poor, even compared to Rhapsody which streams
at 192k. It's a handy radio station but I'd never pay for this service
on my main rig.

Why introduce someone to the SB family with a crippled solution? Just
scan the forums to see all the heartache encountered by trying to get

Doesn't really answer your question but I always use the Rhapsody client
to create and manage my library and playlists. The interface is easy to
use and I always have a laptop handy. I've never tried to do it from
the SB.

That sounds like a 2Wire modem from ATT, probably Uverse. Some have had

Can't understand why you're having a problem. I had two players synced
and playing the same stream all morning. I just unsynced them and they

I have a NAS that is labled as drive Z. I sometimes have to power it
down and when I turn it back on and mount it, Windows can see it but SBS
can't. A reboot clears up the problem.

I think the term obsolete is pretty harsh considering the SB Classic is
comparable to much of the Slim technolgy still shipping. Withdrawn from
marketing would probably more appropriate.

I'm running backlevel sofware so I don't know about Squeezebox Server
but there is a timeout value that you can specify which determines how
long the Squeezebox will attempt to reconnect before timing out. Upping
that value may help. By the way, 100K is no where near broadband.

I agree it's frustrating but at least the remote or controller will
allow you to start play so you are not totally down. I prefer to use the
Rhapsody or Napster clients to search for music and create playlists,
faster easier to use than mysb.com.

Load time would vary from several minutes to an hour, I never could
predict when it would show up and I was using Squeezenetwork, not my
local SC. Got rid of Napster and started using Rhapsody. Selections show
up immediately and it streams at 192k.

It would be useful if the Transporter could display the bit depth and
sample rate information for devices attached via the TP's digital
inputs. I'd like to know this when watching a concert DVD or listening
