u've worked round something similar by bridging your controller via
the SBR.

I talking about using the SBR as an access point.
With the old SB, bridging was enabled during the setup process (along
with typing in the wireless key, etc.). I was hoping to see something
similar during the setup process for the SBR...
Thanks,

Hi all,
Can the Squeezebox Receiver work as a wireless bridge, to connect a
wired-only device to the wireless network via the SBR?
I've had this working in the past with an old SB2 - but, if it is
supported with the SBR, I don't seem to be able to find a way to enable
it.
Thanks,

to serving up music.
I completely agree! Windows support isn't useful to me personally so
it's pretty low on my own priority list, but if somebody wanted to try
making it work on Windows...

arate speakers, I wouldn't particularly consider a branded
amp over any other small amp.
However I would buy a Squeezebox Boombox, for smaller rooms. Especially
if it had FM and maybe even DAB radio built in!

That really won't work very well for those of us who run a headless
server, or use a NAS. Have you tried the SqueezeCenter v7 builds? The
GUI/web interface is much, much slicker than the v6 one.

interesting as a product, an iLastsqueezuneslackerBoxio is even better

If you're happy to dig around stuff you haven't heard before,
http://www.resonancestore.com has some interesting bits and pieces. I
recently found http://www.zunior.com too, though I haven't looked too
closely at this. Both non-DRMy with some albums available in FLAC.
So have I missed Slim's annual, um, breakthrough product announcement?
Or has Technician Wang's career faltered under the Logitech regime?

ailed. So it's waiting 480 seconds (eight minutes) before
trying to submit again, and in the meantime is just logging things to
the file.
Could you find something in the log from an attempt to submit to
last.fm?
BTW you shouldn't lose logged tracks if you restart slimserver.

so it's a small thing. But when a system is well-architected,
it's funny how little 'features' like this just drop out for free.

e SB has stepped
up to being a bridge as well as a music player - I can't thank
SlimDevices enough for throwing this extra feature in!

But then again I'm in the UK, not the ROI.
