the MAC address change thing did happen to my SB3, is it normal?
Although it is working fine now after I manually added new Mac address
into my router mac address filter list, but I am still concerned about.

thank you for the reply, fcm4711, the bose remote is just regular IR
one, I am not sure about carrier frequency thing, but I can use my
logitech remote to learn all the keys, hope this helps.

Anyone has LIRC config file for bose acoustic wave music system? I just
got a IR blaster but I couldn't find LIRC cofig file for my bose
system, any help will be greatly appreciated.

does anyone know if the IR Blaster coming with Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 150
is compatible with SB3, I intend to use it to control the amplifier

yes, I only installed linux on one partition (which can be accessed from
a menu item on evox),all other partitions are untouched so I still can
play games and save games to other partitions, it even runs xbmc as
well.

Just a update, I successfully installed slim server on my xbox with
Gentoox, it runs perfectly on one 300G hard drive now, now my xbox
truely becomes my home media center, I am so joyful.

basically I intend to use xbox as my media storage center which allows
my squeezebox connect to it anywhere at my home, pc is not a option for
me, linkstation is also too limited.

I know you can install Linux on modded XBOX, but have anyone also tried
to put slimserver on top of it, if that works, how about putting the
AlienBBC plugin also, any info will be greatly appreciated.
