Please don't crosspost :) The simple answer is that the digital data
(at a bit level) is identical between all of the models. Whether that
means the audio end-result is identical or not is a question best left

Just don't forget that these cycles aren't free - your server will be

Audio settings on the server machine make no difference to SB players
such as the TP. You can probably setup SC to upsample everything to
24/96 with SOX if you need it, but it will take a bit of tweaking.

It works for any hardware players (with the possible exclusion of slimp3
& SB1, I'm not sure about those). Software player sync is not
guaranteed/supported (although it should be gapless, it may not be
perfectly in sync with other players).

Bridging in general works fine, the one area which is sometimes
problematic is DHCP, and it's usually a limitation of the router/dhcp
server in question rather than the SB. A static IP therefore may well

Looking at the posts which are being flagged, the vast majority have

The specs of the DAC chip are only a small piece of a very large puzzle
when it comes to sound quality. Simply comparing those won't tell you
which overall system will sound better - only actually testing them can
do that.

So the same as Rhapsody, but the (dedicated) player costs e750? Doesn't
sound like much of a deal to me. That's an expensive paperweight
if/when the service closes down. At least with SB/Sonos/whatever you
can still use it if one of the music services goes away.

One tip - if you're faced with a lot of spams to report, you only need

Sample freq is a key factor in determining bitrate (obviously) so you'll
find some very low bitrate stations will use 22.05kHz. In my experience
anything decent (96kbps+) will usually use 44.1kHz. The SB should tell
you though, I think it's in the stream info display.
Wavpack is supported so it should be working. Can you give some more
details of your system - SC version, operating system, etc?

The other thing which a lot of people miss is that you won't get any
output until you start playing something :) A player connected over
stream.mp3 is an individual just like a physical SB, so you have to add
tracks to it's playlist and hit play.
