I am using Net::UDAP version 1.0.x on Windows 2000 (won't work on
Windows 7, even with the --local-address option).

Periodically, sometimes after days with no problems, the server will
lose connectivity with the receiver. I have found that issuing a
"reset" command from the UDAP shell (in the "configuration" sub-shell)
will bring it back to visibility by Squeezebox Server (and iPeng).

I have spoken with Logitech and, of course, they do not support my
configuration (without the controller). They did however suggest I
perform a "reupdate" of the firmware (it's at the latest version), but
could not tell me how.

Is there a way to do this with Net::UDAP?

Any other ideas for resolving this problem?

I have had the receiver nearly 30 days, and reluctantly am on the verge
of returning it. When it works, it's wonderful, but when it doesn't,
it's very frustrating.

Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
