Which ftp programme do you use? If it is command prompt based why not
use mget and mput?
Its not clear where the problem lies - or indeed what your problem
is...

Small is beautiful. I have a nice Pentium M with 1GB ram running on a
nano-sized form factor... these little beasts just get smaller and
smaller. If you also know where to look you start finding some with
raid SATA support. Now that is TINY!

which are quiet, low power usage and slim (e.g. Synology / QNAP)
are the ideal future - unless you manage to make a transporter clone
with inbuilt copper pipes for passive HDD cooling. Now that would be
nice! (it is also a mini project of mine).

spot and possibly fix a bug / fault before a large corporate group can.
Perhaps there could be a mass market for a SB-Lite; SB-Pro;
Transporter.
In the meantime I hope that the SB / Transporter range continues
unchanged and reliable.

option to keep the old database format would possibly be
good for these groups of people - if it works; dont fix it. If you need
improved performance then the path is probably to have a custom mini-itx
/ PC based system; in which case MySQL is not a problem.

A webpage is CH (www.turbostation.ch) is listing a new firmware (not
from Progressive) which adds UPnP and PHP support to the TS101. It now
became a killer product!...
