Duplicate Entries when using special characters such as � and �

Artists with a special characters in their name are listed twice in your Slimserver database? Some offenders are: João Gilberto 8½ Weeks Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen Other than converting the special characters to regular ones, is there a tidy way to handle? -- snood

to refresh my browser does not display the right frame of the default slimserver. I have reloaded the sw, deleted all files, even gone to an earlier version. I have connected to other pcs with slimserver loaded and have not had the problem. -- snood

When the location of the additional music is in on the Desktop or in the My Documents folder, the slim server somehow links to the localservice path rather than the one for the user that you are. I moved the additional music to the root dir and everything went ok. Hope that helps. -- snood

The problem just started, but had been working fine with 6.5.1. Reinstalled and uninstalled everything. Yes I have the mentioned shortcut. It is as if the slimtray is not finding the pointer that exists in that folder. -- snood
