I responded to it...
Basically the Library provided a mechanism to save favorite songs for
easy on-demand listening in the future (for an individual song only).
Since Slacker now supports the creation of playlists, they decided to
remove the Library functionality from their own player interfaces.
The short answer is that WiFi and Bluetooth both operate in the same
chunk of 2.4GHz spectrum. When you try to use both, there will likely be
interference.
- Try selecting a different WiFi channel... some Bluetooth devices work
within a small subset of the 2.4GHz spectrum. Try picking a different
The issues experienced with Slacker were on Slacker's end. They had an
outage that started Friday afternoon with a major weather storm. It
should all be back up and running now though.

Tooltips for icons are one thing, and are usually enabled by default.

This is more likely a limitation of the TuneIn service being used to
stream most terrestrial radio stations, rather than a limitation that
Logitech is imposing.
Have you tried adding the Shoutcast app and seeing if that also returns
just streams in your country?

resolution than the right-arrow buttons.

Nothing else is supported at this time, at least that I'm aware of.
It would be nice to see Logitech add Google Music or Amazon cloud
services to their offering...

with Slacker's latest API - which can
provide Premium-level on-demand features... so Logitech has the tools
to add more features to their Slacker "app", it's just a question of
whether they use them or not at this point. Here's to hoping... :)

problem? Increasing the logging level for network.squeezenetwork and
plugin.sn didn't seem to add anything useful.
Also, can someone from Logitech see if there's more info on their end,
by chance?
when the alarm
turned off the Boom. It actually started playing that last song from
yesterday, though this doesn't show since that's likely in a different
module that is only error logging. 2:23 later, it tries getting a song
from SqueezeNet

I've had the Slacker plugin logging in debug mode for the past week,
since I got my replacement ReadyNAS... I'll post the last bit of it
tonight when I get home, if it has anything relevant in it.

me song as my alarm ran out on yesterday morning... but it started it
from the beginning, not the middle where it cut off. It then showed a
"timed out" message on the display of my Boom.
Hopefully we'll have an answer soon as to if this is an SB issue or a
Slacker issue...

synchronized. So you can't play two different Slacker stations on two
different Squeezeboxes using the same Slacker account.

an't speak to how PS3 Media Server handles browsing through your
files, since I've not downloaded it, but it seems to have a rather
large user base, so I would imagine that it works fairly well.

It's entirely possible that it's not a Flash stream, but they're just
using Adobe Flash to hide the true streaming protocol/format. What's
the site, and maybe someone with the right tools can discover the true
stream format/U
Also, for most routers, QOS is used for prioritizing data going from
your home network to the internet, like a VoIP phone or adapter. It's
not used to prioritize data within your network.

CAT3 is only "certified" up to 10Mbps I believe, so if you can, you
might want to force the connection to 10Mbps/Full Duplex... but there
should be no issue with using CAT3 cabling instead of CAT5.
