There is a full implementation of a SqueezeCenter remote available for the Philips Pronto TSU9600. A new version is about to be released which has full dynamic cover art and Internet radio. A version for the TSU9400 is about a month away. It runs with SC 7.x It uses TCPIP over wifi and the

Personally, I love my Pronto 7000. It's got plenty of hard buttons and a beautiful colour screen. I can control every IR device I own with it. (Wierdly, I still use the SB remote for intensive button pushing, but it's the only one I do that for) It's a one-way device though and you can't do

There's also the just-announced Harmony One remote from some company called Logitech. :) Although I have a Universal Remote MX700 - which I really like - if I was buying today I would seriously consider the Harmony One. It looks like Logitech addressed pretty much all the issues I know I had with

Thanks! I know the top-of-range pronto is expensive...but if it could do 2-way comms and display artwork/driver SlimServer... I like the Harmony 1000 too. I would pay the money (call me crazy) for a single do-it-all remote with 2-way comms (e.g. bluetooth or wi-fi) to the PC. -- Phil Leigh

I'd appreciate some advice. I'm thinking again about a universal remote. I use a Linn 5101 that can handle everything except my Sky box - which is tedious. I used to have a monochrome Madrigal which was OK...ish. What I am after is something that can handle (or learn) my Linn system, Sony LCD,

I meant to add a link to http:\\www.remotecentral.com There's plenty of reviews of the the pronto type of remote control as well as the types with buttons. Plenty of people there are just as mad about their remotes as we are about our Squeezeboxes. Richard
