That pretty much sums it up. I was wondering how long the current

Logitech (and Slimdevices in the past) do not comment on forthcoming
hardware. The only exception was the Transporter, but this was an
additional product as opposed to a replacement.

Late 2005 was a while ago. If the release intervals in the past shed any
light at all, one would assume that it can't be too much longer.

I think the acquisition of Slim Devices by Logitech in the past year
makes past releases a pretty poor predictor of future releases. Hell,

Actually, the hardware used in the SB3 has been around since April 2005,
so thats over 2 years now. The SB3 was just a re-design and re-packaging
of existing hardware.
If there was a new hardware revision iminent that was going to replace
the SB3, would Logitech bother to re-brand the SB3 so
