Could this be a UK vs non UK user problem ? I am outside the UK and I have the same problem - also with Radio Scotland another 32kb FlashAAC streams but no problemwith 56kb FlashAAC such as Asian Network. The BBCiPlayer log shows a straneg "don't support channels > 63" error. Code:

Connects OK for me using BBCiPlayer, takes ages buffering though. Format: AAC, Bitrate: 32kbps reported. Have you tried playing with Server Settings > Advanced > Network "Radio Timeout" etc. to see if it makes any difference? ---
