Nope, it's just not that simple. It's actually a SqueezeCenter-side
change that has to happen for this. That's actually how the controller
defines the button handlers for a given "playable" item.

this will be somewhat solved by the "Party Mode" enhancement, which has
a mind-boggling diversity of opinions, but the core of it will be that
hitting play will not wipe the current playlist.

Can buttons on the Controller be remapped like they can for the IR
remotes? For instance, can I change the "Play" function to always do
"play next" so I don't accidentally wipe my playlist? I'd also like to
