No, 3483 is a registered port and thus the player firmware only supports
connecting on that port. It's possible to change the listening port but
it requires you to setup a load-balancer in front of your system that is
listening on port 3483. This is what we do on SqueezeNetwork so we can
run man
Is it possible to have squeezecenter listen on a different slimproto
port from 3483?
