Yes I bought a JP1 cable and tried it out a few years back. However I found all the different homebrew utilities (JP1, JP1.2, IR, Remote Master, KeyMap Master, RDF, DecodeCCF etc. etc.) so complex and hard to learn that I just had to give up on it in the end. It would have taken less time to

A bit of a tangent, but Currys (and I guess the other DSG stores) have the URC-7556 (the newer, black version of the 7555, identical internals) on sale this week for £14.95, which seems a pretty good deal and worth picking up just for a spare? Agree that the software is a bit strange, but it

JVC DVD did the trick. :) I looked up JVC DVDs for my particular remote and OFA came back with 3 suggested codes which can be used on either the DVD or VCR device keys. The first was 0623, and with that I can access virtually all of the SB3 keys! The only functions that *don't* appear to be

If you want to make your OFA remote do all sorts of clever new things and are prepared to spend some time and effort (and a bit of cash for a special interface cable) then take a look at the JP1 interface site here: http://www.hifi-remote.com/jp1/ All of the codes for the Squeezebox are
