ahh, ok then the world is your oyster, fill your boots as almost anyone with a shed makes a SPDIF. Don't spen too much, if your using windows check for a driver, almost any xmos chip based one should be good. M2tech mentioned already, the one you linked to, lots of choice here

Hi all, bit of advice if you can please.. I am planning for the eventual demise of Spotify on squeezebox, so I`m looking to connect my laptop to the DAC in my Transporter as a contingency. I`m looking at one of these. Anyone got any thoughts or alternative suggestions?
