Just installed the latest SC 7.0.1 and rebooted my controller which
triggered the update on it.
The album art issues has been resolved for me.

Is the artwork all there in the web interface?
If so are you maybe experiencing this bug?

There is a separate album art cache on the controller. The only way I
know how to refresh it is to do a complete factory reset of the
controller. Turn off the SBC, then turn it back on while holding down
the "+" button. Then you go through setup again (including re-entering
WPA key if you have one
