I think it would be nice to have a type of 'Custom Title' that shows
different types depending on which folder etc. I play from.
When I play an entire album, I obviously know about the artist, so in
that case TRACKNUM.TITLE is enough.
When I play a compilation, however I would like to set i

Not exactly what you're describing, but MusicInfoSCR let's you configure your
screen in many ways:

Yep, MusicInfoScr is great - esp. for classical music with a TP.

Out of interest, how are you tagging your files, and how have you got
MusicInfoScr setup to achieve this? How to it work with "popular" music?

Setup as shown. Popular stuff is OK, the composer tag just goes blank.
