Okay. Feel free to laugh if this is obvious and yet I've somehow missed
it. Is it possible to delete albums or tracks from the SS database
=without= having to do a clear all and rescan? I'm not talking about
deleting the physical file itself from the harddrive... just it's
presence in the db.
use iTunes
set pref to delete unchecked iTunes tracks
uncheck that ones you want gone, and the iTunes reload will deal with
it.
otherwise, slimserver does its best to catalog everything it finds in
the music folder tree or MusicIP data feed.
