I've had excellent results with both the new D-Link N models and the
Ruckus (which is however basically impossible to buy).

Yes, you are right, I'm wrong.
Broadcom is the chip. They are in many routers. Check the DD-WRT site
for a long list.
Another vote for Linksys WRT54GL.
Use DD-WRT or Tomato firmware. I had ~280 days uptime before last
(manual) reboot, no problems at all.

Linksys WRT54GL is what I use at home. Solid as a rock with everything

WRT54GL with Tomato fw.
Cranked up the radio, and the little thing has really good antennas.
And it can handle WOL over internet and QOS and even more stuff.
I can NOT recommend the NetGear WGT624v3 it's.
Mainly because it's a little buggy and is much weaker in the radio then
the linksys.

I fully recommend the Net Gear WNR854T N series router. I replaced an
older Netgear with it and the results were pretty phenomenal. I was
just commenting today to my son how we have maybe had one drop in the 3
months of using it. I can run my laptop at the N rate without problems
with the Squ
WRT54GL + Tomato Firmware

Buffalo makes the chips inside a lot of Wireless routers. For some
reason, Buffalo can no longer sell their routers in the US, some
