I have a Harmony 659 that I use with my SB3 -
When I run into an odd command, I use the original remote and do the
learning process with the original remote and, in this case, its Power
button. I would rename it Power-WHD (using my initials in the name).
That file is saved into the Harmony datab
My 659 doesn't show this problem either.
To my untrained eye, it looks like your 659 is sending a pause and
power toggle when you switch the SB off. Since the SB was already
paused, that will act like a play command.
I suggest you check the Harmony setup for the appropriate activity. It

Any experts able to parse this to give me some suggestions on what to do

Here's the output: this is from turning on, pressing stop, and then
turning off using "Listen to Music", Stop, and then "Off". I don't
press Play at any point.
It looks like the Harmony is sending some stuff that the SB doesn't

It works fine when I use the power button on the SB remote. That was
what led me to believe it's a Harmony issue.
>From a symptom point of view, it's almost like the Harmony is sending a
"Play - Power Off" sequence when powering off and a "Power On - Play"
sequence when powering on.

Same here -
My Harmony 659 works fine in that configuration.
What happens when you send the Power signal from the regular SB3
remote? - Does it act differently - That should be the determinant as
to whether or not it's the Harmony causing the issue.
Thanks ...

Interesting, as I use a Harmony 659 as well and don't have this problem.
Are you sure it's a Harmony issue and not a Slimserver issue?

I have a Harmony 659 which works fine controlling my SB with one
exception. My SB is configured to "Pause on power off/Remain Paused at
Power On". However when I use the Harmony to turn the system off, I can
see that it is sending some command to restart playing right before
powering down. When I
