I have had a number of SB1 players in the house, all of which worked well except for the occasional, but annoying stutter. Installing an SB2 (I love the new display options and sound quality improvements), I noticed I still had the Hauppauge mvp software on my server. As I don't use the MVP anymore I uninstalled the software, and guess what - no more stutters from any player. Fantastic. Also, SB2 works brilliantly on wireless network (with Netgear WPN824 router) where none of the SB1s would play FLAC smoothly.
Hope this discovery helps and I wish this product had more publicity in the UK.
