What's the exact error you get?
I would expect the path to the iTunes_Hist.txt file needs to be provided
(unless you are running from the directory that contains it)

Ah, thanks. It took me a while, but I remembered that the iTunes files
are redirected by symlink, so I had to use the full path and not the
symlinked path for it to work.
C:\Perl\bin\perl.exe d:\Music\iTunes\iTunesUpdate.pl
d:\Music\iTunes\iTunes_Hist.txt
I need to juggling some of the paths
The text file containing the play history should appear in your configured LMS
playlist directory.
You then run iTunesUpdate.pl on it.

I've still not been able to set up my Touch/LMS to update the
playcounts in iTunes and have been sidetracked but am trying again
now!
