I know this is an old thread, but for future reference: I found the
settings in the registry under:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JavaSoft\Prefs\org\titmuss\softsqueeze
When I changed them there, they changed the next time that I opened
SoftSqueeze.

I had the same problem. I only resolved it this week by uninstalling
from Add/Remove Programs and reinstalling with the latest version.

DOOM! Thanks! It worked. Actually didnt even uninstall. Just went to
help/softsqueeze in SlimServer and reinstalled softsqueeze.

My IP Address recently changed so I had to also change the settings of
Softsqueeze. I did this and was able to connect fine. But the next
time I tried to open up Softsqueeze it couldnt connect. It still had
my old IP Address in the settings.
