My iTunes Party Shuffle plugin can already do this.

Unfortunately Apple have not included Genius in the AppleScript/COM interface
to iTunes so you can't initiate a new genius mix from SlimServer, which would
be a nice feature.

Ah - so no good to me as I'm on Intel Max OSX. More than happy to help

Sounds like a great idea for a 3rd party plugin. This should be feasible.

I'm full of great ideas (I'm pretty sure Music Info Screensaver came off
the back of one of them) but completely lacking in coding skills. Were

I'm still liking Genius mixes. They're not as varied as Music IP, and
you don't get so many obscure tracks, but I've not managed to get MiP
working on my mac system yet so they're all i have.
Now SC picks up the Genius playlist when it scans iTunes but it's
rather inconvenient hitting Genius in
