The CastBridge bridge pretends to be a player and fakes a MAC address. Each of Philippe's bridges has their own range and then they use the end of the MAC address of the real device that they are bridging to at the end. The IP address that LMS sees is the IP address of the bridge ... since it

Thanks for the replies. I was not sufficiently clear. I have a lot of Chromecast devices so uninstalling castbridge is not an option. And even if it was that still leaves me unable to identify the errant device. The issue is hard to solve as I have a fair number of differing devices running

CastBridge is the plugin to enable playoing to Chromecast comaptioble device. I think the plugin works by emulating a squeezelite players in the server and then sending audio to Chromecast device. So uninstall Castbridge plugin if you want to remove it.
