Since I set the Music Folder in SC to blank so that it refers to the
MusicIP folder structure, I have now lost the ability to browse my
music by folder. Sometimes I do like to be able to browse by folder so
I'd like to have this functionality back while still having the MusicIP
setup work

restarted SC. I can then see that the plugin has been entirely removed

I always wondered why you re-invented everything from scratch. Why don't you
use the code already available in the offical MIP plugin? You could use the CLI
commands to create mixes, thus never have to care about

I have this up and running now and will be playing about with it over

I was a little suprised by some of the mixes (e.g. seeding from Country
House by Blur got a mix with a lot of Alanis Morisette and Bon Jovi in

instructions on the Wiki and Spicefly sites and was waiting for the SC
clear rescan thinking all would be good.the scan completes but
now SC shows me no tracks. It shows the scan results as having found 0

I think I have MusicIP setup correct, but have a question
System: Vista Ultimate 32, SC 7.2 - 22997 , Music IP 1.8.1b
I have the MusicIP headless running. It returns:
Total songs 36,582
Mixable songs 36,566
Songs to validate 561
And can create a test mix.
In SC, I have the MusicIP plugin
I'm still not sure if the music library should be set to my music
directory path or leave it blank? Benefits either way? There are some
songs that I know MusicIP is not picking up and I like to play via SC.
Use both, path and MIP. If you experience wierdness like duplicated tracks,

My PC is not very state of the art at all. I have nearly 30k flac
Ive been trying to get this working on my system for ages with no
success . Everytime I download MusicIP it starts the setup process it
says ' Extracting Files ' and freezes and I never get beyond that point
even though MusicIP is ticked on in Settings section of SC .
